This homepage was not designed to promote controversy. The opposite has been it's purpose. But there are changes being made in America that can not be ignored. Those speaking against these changes have been been labeled by the far left as acts of extremists with violent tendencies. The current Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi refereed to Town Hall Protesters as, "Carrying Swastikas."

The words appearing here are being written by a natural born American that served in the United Stated Army and received an Honorable Discharge. This was after three years of service on active duty, two of those as a Senior Rifleman in the Twenty Fifth Infantry Division and three years in the reserves. The discharge was in July of 1964.

While meaning no disrespect to President Obama welcome to the USSA comrade. "To anyone who remains unconvinced that President Obama is a, Socialist just listen to one of the most prominent members of the Democrat Party. Al Sharpten told us flat out...The American public overwhelmingly voted for socialism when they elected President Obama..." 3/22/10

How can anyone take The Oath of Office in The Constitution which is, "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States," and behave the way President Obama is? Does he not understand this Oath or not care? If the former he does not posses the intelligence to be President and it is common knowledge that is not the case. If the latter he is a dishonest man and therefore does not deserve to be President. Either way America loses.

Obamacare is going to cost a fortune as will Cap and Trade and all the entitlements attached to these bills as well as the stimulus package. If you don't get that than the discussion here is useless. Spending your way out of debt is foolish. The only way to pay for all this will lead to an increase in taxes which has always been the lefts answer to getting revenue. This despite history revealing that increased taxes ultimately leads to reduced revenue.

In Europe a means to this tax revenue is are national sales taxes or VAT (Value-Added Tax). This may be where the money to pay for all this new debt will come from. In most states this means in addition to the State and county sales tax there will be a national sales tax going to the Federal Government.

Maybe we should all send all of our money to the Federal Government and let them redistribute it. That's called redistribution of wealth which President Obama lectured "Joe the plumber" on during his campaign. Wikipedia defines redistribution of wealth as follows: "In economics, redistribution is the transfer of income, wealth or property from some individuals to others. Most often it refers to progressive redistribution, from the rich to the poor, although it may also refer to regressive redistribution, from the poor to the rich. The desirability and effects of redistribution are actively debated on ethical and economic grounds." The redistribution President Obama refers to is the progressive type.

Additionally the Mirriam-Webster OnLine dictionary defines socialism as: "1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods." Under President Obama the government has taken ownership of banks, insurance and car companies. As the saying goes, "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, it must be a duck."

Politicians are often pragmatic and Machiavellian i.e. "the end justifies the means." President Obama seemed to practice this to get Obamacare passed. Yet it may have hurt his chances for a second term. Time will reveal the answer but he seems to be at ease with this, This is because he truly believes in what he is doing. This shows political courage and that is admirable. History is riddled with leaders in the past that have put their political careers and even their lives on the line for their beliefs. Unfortunately some of these leaders have been wrong.

There are many people in this country that believe The Constitution is a divinely inspired document. It is available for reading online by clicking this link. It contains The Preamble, seven articles, and twenty seven amendments.

The Preamble, "The first paragraph of the Constitution provides the context for the Constitution the "why" of the document." The Articles define the powers of the government with the first three articles defining the powers of the legislative branch (the Congress), executive branch (the President), and the judicial branch (the Supreme Court) respectively. The Amendments define our rights as American citizens such as freedom of speech, press, the right to bare arms, etc. There is no mention of healthcare here. Every American citizen should read our Constitution and treasure it.

It is obvious that President Obama believes in the expansion of government. With this expansion the power of the government grows as it attempts to provide for and control its citizens. With this comes a loss of personal freedoms and rights. Estimates are that Obamacare will add sixteen thousand emplyees designated to monitor and enforce the mandatory purchase of healthcare by every American citizen. Making things larger and more complex is not shared by all as the way to resolve issues and problems."Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better. A few years ago a psychiatrist by the name of M. Scott Peck wrote a book based on a study of evil using the, "Scientific Method." The book is entitled, "The People of the Lie." Dr. Peck's work was to study what is evil, where does it come from, and how does it manifest itself? His conclusion was that the root of evil is dishonesty i.e. lies, therefore the title. Dr. Peck's book and these reviews are thought provoking. Do they apply to what is happening in current American politics? How much honesty are you experiencing from our political leaders today?

This writing will probably not change anyone's mind. What it may do is motivate people that agree with it to vote in November. Years ago a comedian and political satirist named Mort Sahl said, "vote the incumbent out of office." All these years later it appears that Mr. Sahl knew what he was talking about.
